can this product be applied directly to existing treated deck boards?


Hello, and thank you for reaching out to Trex! Trex decking can be installed onto existing joists spanning 16" on center. However do not attach Trex decking directly to any solid surface (such as a wooden deck) or watertight system. Thanks, Tori - Trex Customer Care Team
