If the spacing between balusters is 4.1" on stair rail, it won't pass code in my area. Have you shortened the spacing to meet current codes of 4" max?

Hi Diane, The Enhance railing will accommodate a 32-37° angle. With a range in degree installation, the baluster spacing has to be able to accommodate those options, in addition to elongated holes for the balusters to sit in. Once fully installed, the spacing between the balusters will be less than 4” because of the angle of the stairs. If the baluster holes are modified in any way to accommodate a different degree of installation, and this causes the spacing to be larger than 4", this would be a custom application and not one that we would be able to warrant.
