What are the physical/fuctional differences between the horizontal railing kit, and the one made for stair railing?


Hello, and thank you for reaching out to Trex. The Enhance horizontal rail kit is designed for horizontal applications only. A horizontal kit will contain rails with pre-cut baluster holes designed for horizontal applications. The Enhance stair rail kit is designed to only work with stair slopes of 32-37 degrees. A stair kit also contains rails with precut baluster holes that are more elongated to accommodate the stair slope. In addition a horizontal kit will contain 4 horizontal brackets for proper rail attachment, and a stair kit will contain 4 horizontal brackets with 4 stair adapters for proper rail attachment.
