What do you need to mount the post on the decking?


Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex! The Trex 4X4 composite post sleeves are sold separately and are designed to slide over a 4x4 pressure treated post, or a Trex surface mount post. For specifics on attachment of a pressure treated post please reach out to a licensed contractor for further details. For attachment of a Trex Surface Mount Post (for use with our 4x4 post sleeves) you will need the IRC Surface mount post hardware pack sold separately. Thanks, Tori - Trex Customer Care Team
