Can this be used for a fresh water dock?


Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex! Trex can be used for dock applications. Only intermittent contact with water is recommended such as splashing, and not in continuous direct contact with water. For dock applications you will want to increase your gapping to 3/8" width to width to allow for increased drainage. In addition stainless steel fasteners should be used. If the dock will come into sufficient contact with gasoline, it is recommend that the dock is grounded. Hope this helps! Thanks, Tori - Trex Customer Care Team
