If furing strips were used as a base for trex on concrete would that be enough space between the concrete and Trex?

Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex decking. When installing Trex onto a sleeper system the minimum height requirement is 1.5". This will allow for airflow, drainage, and access which is critical for our boards. In addition the sleeper system must be constructed with code approved structural material as the joists spaced at a maximum 16" on center, the joists must be level, and the system should be secured as Trex does not recommend any floating systems.
