I would like to use a 3ft wide Trex on a 24 ft long walking bridge across a dry creek bed. Is additional support needed in the middle?


Hello, For installation Trex decking must span at least three joists minimum. In addition 1x6 Trex boards require a maximum 16" on center joist spacing for support. For your application it sounds like you will need 3 joists spaced 12" on center. Hope this makes sense!
