Box advertises 6' stair railing. This will not span posts any further apart than about 68 inches on a 7" rise and 11" run. Quite misleading. No extra length on the top & bottom rails to allow for miter cuts. Unless I'm doing something wrong.

Please note that the post-to-post span will always be less than 6' due to the angle of the stair slope and the space needed for proper installation. Prior to installing stair posts, it's important to calculate the post-to-post span based on the maximum rail length and the stair angle (32°–37°). Installing posts at a full 6' or 8' span will result in rails being too short, as there is no extra length built into the top and bottom rails to account for angle cuts or mitering.
