Your specifications indicate an X does that mean we cannot use it for stairs?


Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex! This product shown is actually a 12" Select deck board sample only, and not an actual decking board. You can use Select decking for your stair treads. For Select decking in a 1x6 due to its thinner profile we recommend a 9" stringer spacing. If using Select decking in a 2x6 we recommend a 12" stringer spacing. Hope this helps!
