Is there any concerns with installation in cold weather. If so, is there a minimum installation temp


Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex. There is no minimum installation temperature for installation, however we do recommend to increase the gapping when installing below 40 degree temperatures for expansion in hotter temperatures. When installing below 40 degree temperatures Trex recommends 1/4" width to width gap (this can be accomplished with the Trex hidden fasteners), 3/16" end to end gap, and a 1/2" abutting gap (where the deck board meets a solid structure such as the house). As a side note the material is easier to install in warmer temperatures but it can be done in any temperature. Thanks, Tori - Trex Customer Care Team
