If this is 300 GPH, why can't I hook the output via a hose to an 18 inch high waterfall box instead a fountain? I don't want to run two electric cords or buy two pumps.


Hello, thank you your inquiry. The pump in the filter box is a 300 GPH fountain pump and the waterfall spillway is only compatible with 700 GPH to 2000 GPH pond or waterfall pumps.
