I have a shower in basement with old cement floor that has been impossible to keep painted. Would this carpet work there?

So to clarify, you want to put this capet in your bathroom? Not a good idea. Carpet will mold and grow mildew if constantly exposed to damp conditions. Tile would be a much better option, as would vinyl. I recommend staying away from wood products or carpet.
