I need to be able to prop the door open *slightly* when not in use. But will that work with this model, or does the door pull itself shut? Ty!

Hello, the door on this unit can be manually opened, however, we do not suggest that it is left opened for long periods when not in use. The door must be opened to make settings and operate the dishwasher. The unit does have a mechanism to pull itself shut, however, it will not close all the way, this will require extra effort.
