Was this Answer Helpful ?All of Lowe's residential lock sets will lock from the inside. It will either be the push button or turn button. On the Kwik Set, if you lock the knob from the inside, you can not turn the handle from the inside. If you buy a Schlage or Gate House, the knob will turn even if the knob is locked. If you wan a lock that you can not lock from the inside, than you need to purchase a commercial closet set. It takes a key to open the lock from the outside, because it is always locked. The knob on the inside, does not have a button to lock or unlock the knob. Hope this helps.
