It's easy enough to install without directions. You just put it on! It's pretty easy. Like putting on a seat belt....

First tighten screws on the latch part (side) of the door. Make sure the 2screws for the knob go through the 2holes in the inside of the latch mechinism, then into the screw holes in the other side of the knob. When you tighten them down all the way you should feel a slight clicking where the screws are rubbing the serrated peice in the knob that locks them in place, you should be able to get them pretty tight and they won't back out.

First you would install the latch with 2 wood screws to the thin side of the door. Then install the interior and exterior knobs. Connect them with 2 machine screws and you're finished. Call the customer service number on the packaging for further assistance.

There is only four screw that you need to install this lock. Install the latch first. Use the two small wood screws for this. Next, put the outside knob on door, than the inside knob. Align the holes on the knob so that they align up to the screw posts that the screws will go in. Install the 2 screws. Tighten the screw but not to tight so it will not bind the knob and keep it from working.
