Does Lowes rekey new lock sets purchased in the store?


According to the employee at my Lowe's, ReliaBilt (formerly Gate House) does not provide the right tool to rekey the lock sets. So they are not able.

Most Lowe's should be able to provide that service (@ a fee). Some areas require a locksmith on site however that is rare. If they rekey Kwikset locksets, then there is no reason they can't do Gatehouse brand as well, as it is Kwikset-compatible should they not possess a Gatehouse rekey kit.
