How to take off


Remove the two screws at the base of the inside knob. The two knobs should pull apart from there. Remove the screws along the edge of the door and the plunger mechanism will slide out.

After you remove the interior screws from the unit, it should simply pull off. If the exterior piece isn't falling off, you may want to take a rubber mallet and lightly tap it off. The latch should simply come out by removing the 2 screws that hold it in place.
