can it be locked and unlocked also how many keys does it have in the package?

there are no keys. It just has a switch on the inside and a slot on the outside that you can open the lock if you need to get in. It's therefore not a good entry door lock! Only really good for bathrooms and bedrooms
Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes you can lock and unlock this set but understand, it is a privacy set and not a keyed entry set. It is for use on a bathroom. It locks with a twist button on one side of the knob and unlocks the same way. It does not come with keys, however, if necessary (for example, your child locks himself in the bathroom), you can use a regular knife out of your silverware drawer, stick it in the slot on the front of the door knob (only goes in about 1/8 of an inch) and turn - the door knob will unlock.

Was this Answer Helpful ?The entry knobs come with 2 keys, bed/bath can be locked but don't come with keys, but they can be unlocked with a penny. Hall way knobs don't lock.
Was this Answer Helpful ?This lock is for a bedroom or bath. There are no keys. It can be locked or unlocked from either side.
Was this Answer Helpful ?This unit can be locked but it doesn't require a key. It's considered a "Bed and Bath" lock which is a privacy lock. It's designed to lock and let others know you are in that room and do not wish to be disturbed. However it can be unlocked from the outside using items like a nickel or a flat head screwdriver. If someone were to fall and hurt themselves, you can go in and help them by using the items described above.
