Will product block water vapor?


If you staple Reflectix to the bottom of the floor joist and tape the seams with a foil faced tape the product will form a vapor barrier so moisture will not get into the area between the Reflectix and the floor above. You do want to make sure that when you apply Reflectix to the bottom of the joist that the area between the bottom of the joist and the floor above is dry.
