How does rain affect the product during the fill and over the course of several days following its application?

After hand tapping 24 bags in 1 pot hole. And backing a heavy roller over it several times. I had good rain that night and the following day. It did not effect anything and is harding nicely.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I do not think immediate rain following use is good at all. I have always had success until the last time when we had a hard shower just as I finished 3 bags. Some of the product had not hardened and I will have to scrape it off and buy more.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Rain has no affect. It works the same as commercial roadway asphalt, no curing time is required, although it will get firmer over time.
Was this Answer Helpful ?If You Tamp It Real Good With A Hand Tamper, The Rain Will Not Affect It. Throw Sand On The Finshed Tamped Surface To Remove Tackiness.
Was this Answer Helpful ?In my experience, the rain will find ways to get under the product, but will not really impact the product itself. Please make sure there is a way for moisture to flow away from the bottom of the product or it may impact its time to harden. I used the product to fill a birdbath depression in my driveway. A year later when I removed it, the water was still at the bottom of the depression.

Was this Answer Helpful ?I used this product 10 days before we had the hard rains and flooding in Northern Colorado. It was not affected in any way by the water. I will wait until things dry out a little before I continue to seal coat just to be safe.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Where I used the patch in front of my garage it was washing out of the holes where water dripped of the roof, it doesn't adhere very well for who knows how long.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Subsequent to filling the low spots in my driveway, we've had over six inches (6") of rain (according to my Weather Channel rain gauge), and it's had no ill effect on the patched places. The instructions even state that the user doesn't have to worry about using it on wet pavement, as the material will displace any water in the repair location.
