It can be moved a little. We had to move ours to center the fixture above the sink.
Was this Answer Helpful ?The fixture can be attached wherever you mount the bracket for the light fixture. The bracket does not need to be attached to a junction box. I mounted the bracket to the wall with drywall screws. You could also use drywall anchors or toggle bolts, whatever you feel is sufficient enough. Wherever you put that brakcet, the light is going to be centered on it.
Was this Answer Helpful ?As long as you wire the fixture according to your local electrical codes, the fixture can be placed where you need it. Currently the fixture has an area on the mountign plate for the wires to be directed for wiring purposes. It is possible to re route the wiring, however you will need to speak to a certified electrician to make sure the wiring is completed properly so that there are no electrical issues.
