can this product be used over a Concrete slab

Our basement is a concrete slab and worked great. Floor laid straight and no creaking.

Was this Answer Helpful ?I have installed laminate flooring over two concrete slabs using this product and had absolutely no problems. It is thin so if you are dealing with a slab with any fairly deep sink spots or sharp high spots you may need to float the floor,or consider a much thicker underlayment that can compensate for the uneven surface. Other than that I found it to be an easy product to use and more than adequate as a vapor barrier.
