Can the headband be cut to 72 or 48 wide

Manufacture states no but I recently hung 12. Customized WIDTH & length easily on each. Width from 52" to 62". Tools needed, Tape Measure, pencil, scissor, hacksaw, Phillips screwdriver. Each takes approximately 30 minutes to modify.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Using a hacksaw, I trimmed to 70 in. Measure the desired length, mark, saw the case all the way through. Remove screws, notice the length of the bar into the end cap - slightly shorter. Mark the bar, pull the bar out enough for clearance, cut. Reassemble. Use cut case for template to drill hole on bottom.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Actually, I cut mine to 54.5 inches. You have to take the end cap off the end that doesn't have the wand. Cut with hacksaw.
