Will this work on a electric heater??


It should, look at the electrical draw of your electrical heater, it should be listed. Most are 15 amps rated - however, it wouldn't hurt probably to find a switch rated at 20 amps to provide a bigger margin of error - but also, make sure you buy the switch from someplace reputable, dont' want a counterfeit one - and look for UL listing on the switch you buy.
