How far does this stick out? I want to plug in a power strip as close to the wall as possible so my desk is close to the wall.


It sticks out a total of 2 inches because of the tabs that attach the covers. If you cut the tabs of the rubber covers off, (it would be easy and a clean cut with a razor blade), then it would stick out only 1 5/8 inches.
