Different usage for this

They would be sturdy enough for the orchid pots to sit on. I'm not sure if the light would make them too brittle over time but I have a friend who uses them to keep his starter Bonsai plants from sitting in the water that runs out of the pots. His plants are under lights the panels have been used for many years.

The louvers were not intended for this application but could work depending on the weight of the pots and where they are placed on the louver.
