Is this the right tubing to puncture holes for drip irrigation?

This pipe is intended for connecting a sprinkler head to your irrigation system's main line, not for drip irrigation purposes. If drip irrigation is what you're after, you should take a look at the Orbit 67346L or 67347 for your 1/2" drip line, and the Orbit 67301 for the 1/4" offshoots (if needed).
