Can I use this on a stained wood countertop and is it heat resistant?


It can be used for that application but it is not heat resistant.

Hello. Our products are not heat-resistant. As long as the stain is fully cured, our Clear Brushing Lacquer product should be fine for use. We always recommend to do a spot test for compatibility whenever using our product over another company's product. Regards, Minwax Customer Support
