What size nail or screw and why aren't the fasteners included? Why are the holes so big? Bigger than any trim nail I've seen.


The type of fastener to use would depend on your situation and type of material used for the soffit. Trim nails are not used to attach the soffit vents. Any screws or nail with a wider head can used, stainless may be preferred. The holes are 3/16 in diameter.
