Jeff is right, this price is for 168 pieces per bundle/pack. BUT, the description is still incorrect. It states (Common; 1 inch X 4 foot X 8 foot), which is way off. But the (Actual; .625 inch X 3.468 inch X 95.875 inch) is correct. All common vs actual is like that. In other words, it is about $5.74 per board of 1 inch X 4 inch X 95.875 inch. A pack/bundle will cover approx. 48.566 foot wide X 95.875 inches (8 foot) high. Enough to do a medium sized house front. For instance, my home is 1250 square foot and it would take three packs/bundles to do the entire house with a 10% waste. I hate the way the newer Lowes site tries to put WAY too much info in the description, so much so, it cuts off the important info to make you continually click to open each item just to see what it is.
Was this Answer Helpful ?This says 48x96 nominal and .625 x 3.5 actual?? I paid $1.00 each for 200 pc at Habijax. I paid $1.00 each for 90 pc Hardie .75" x 5.5" x 12' trim at Lowes, Gainesville, FL which was not a shelf item at the store; they sell 1" on the shelf. I bought it online and they loaded the pallet on my trailer. Nice price but half hour drive to pick it up.
Was this Answer Helpful ?The price is for a hack of 168 pieces.
Was this Answer Helpful ?No it's not for one piece. Contact Lowe's (an actual store). Lowe's does this frequently (gets the quantity wrong). It happens in the store too, but there's actually a person to say 'that's not right' if you're speaking to someone in person. The price is for a package amount. They enter a multiple count package as a single item, then multiply the package price by the number of units in the package. I've even had experiences with their employees cutting open 5 packs and then putting them out individually (clearly labeled 5 pack). That's how we get '$500 for a box of screws' listings, too (take the price of a package of 100 screws, multiply the package price by the number of screws in the package...).
Was this Answer Helpful ?LP ships all of our SmartSide product to distributors, who then sell to dealers and lumberyards. They can charge whatever price they fell like. We do not control their pricing.
