Will it bond wood to polypropylene plastic? I’m trying to attach a wood name plate to a plastic foot locker for my grandson.

Only if you trace out the outline of the nameplate and rough up the plastic surface inside the perimeter with 60 grit sand paper. Do not do this with a sander. It must be by hand. It will provide enough irregular surface for the adhesive to grab. Otherwise there is an excellent probability that the attached item will peel right off.
