Kwikset mode l#300CV 11P CP is a privacy interior door knob that requires an emergency key #81087-001 to unlock. The door can be unlocked from the outside by using the emergency tool included with lockset. If the tool is not present, a very thin flathead screwdriver can be used to insert in the hole. Insert it straight into the hole until you feel it catch, then turn to the right (clockwise) to unlock.
