I've seen several reports of the 80v battery not being dependable and one owner needing three batteries in the first year.


I bought mine last year....I also have the Kobalt electric leaf blower that uses the same battery and came with it's own charger.....my thinking was I could use the 2 batteries for my weed eater then recharge for my leaf blower but one battery has always provided me more than enough time to weed eat my .5 acres (Both sides of my chain link fence, around house, yard barn, trees, etc.)....it's been great for me.
