What drywall thickness is this product designed to accommodate so that it mounts flush with ceiling?


This model is for 1/2'' thick drywall.

It is intended for use with 1/2 inch drywall but would also be acceptable for use with 5/8 inch drywall (as per National Electrical Code), it would just be recessed 1/8 inch.
