Can this be installed over a stipled ceiling?

Thank you for your interest in our products. Our tiles must be installed over a substrate that is smooth, clean, flat, and dry for proper adhesion. Any texture should be removed to create as smooth of possible surface for the adhesive to properly cling to. If you have any additional installation questions, please feel free to contact us at 800.434.3750. Thank you again!
