How do you know when it's time to replace the filter?


Some Refrigerators will alert you when the Water Filter needs to be changed. We recommend replacing your water filter every 6 months or every 200 gallons, which ever comes first.

Some refrigerators have indicator lights (Whirlpool) showing filter status. You can mark the end of the filter with the install or replace by date. High tech owners can add a reminder in their favorite electronic gadget. Buy a backup filter, Mark it with replacement date info and plan to purchase a new replacement filter when the backup is installed. Lots of options.
