What is the maximum temperature this cable heats up to? I have it installed properly under metal pipe but within an inch of wood paneling.


Hi, the AHB cable is warm to the touch and shouldn’t harm the paneling, we also recommend that a foam or fiberglass wrap insulation is used after the cable is installed.
