Will the hardware rust, I understand the cable is 318 SS but what is the hardware made of? 1yr Warranty may not be long enough to discover rusting ?

All stainless steel components in the kit are grade 304. The only experience with rust we have seen are customers located in coastal areas where salt can get into the air. As long as you maintain 10 mile plus distance from the ocean you will see no rust
