does the door open left to right? or right to left? looking for a door that opens from the left.

Thanks for your questions. The single door wall cabinets can be flipped to have the door open to the left or right. The bottom of the cabinet can be used as a shelf. The weight limit on all load bearing surfaces is 15 lbs. per square foot which would include all cabinet floors, shelves, and drawers. Hope this helps! Thanks ~ Sherri

The doors can easily be switched to open in either direction. Yes, the bottom of the cabinet will hold dishes, etc.
