Replaced batteries, solar caps still do not light completely anymore

Make sure the batteries are secured in their compartment. If this does not fix it, contact Deckorators customer service at 800-556-8449.

Often the contacts corrode inside and the corrosion extends to the wiring. Try cleaning the contacts with a pencil easer and blow the dust off. If the wiring has corroded, there's not much you can do.

I've had the same problem. Check the seating of the batteries. Every time I re-seat the batteries and confirm a solid connection to the terminals they seem to do fine. You can test by taking light inside and covering the solar cell with your hand and a dark rag. Also use high quality replacement batteries and make sure the top of the solar cell is clean. If the solar cell on top gets dirty it wont recharge the batteries effectively. Hope this helps.
