Can this be used on stones?

I would not suggest using Contact Cement to attach stones. It works better with two flat smooth surfaces. For textured or irregular shaped items I would suggest cement with a latex bonding additive or if there is enough reasonably smooth contact surface I might consider liquid nails Heavy Duty adhesive. It is extremely strong after curing. Insure that the surfaces are clean, dry and dust, oil, and grease free.

We would not recommend the use of DAP® Weldwood® Original Contact Cement for this type of application. This type of application requires the use of a waterproof polyurethane based construction adhesive.
