Cutting the steel edging is mentioned for the corner device? Who cuts, customer or the store and with what?

You would have to cut the edging yourself and you can use a standard hacksaw with a good, sharp metal blade. Lay the edging flat and cut about halfway through. At that point you should be able to bend it back and forth until the steel fatigues and the pieces separate. The edging will be hot, so make sure you have your gloves and safety glasses! If you are proficient with any number of power tools then those will work as well. Using the Corner Stake is also a good option. Cut the edging as described and insert the cut pieces into the Corner Stake.

You can cut as needed and use the corners to connect them and use splice stakes if you need to put a stake and don't have a hole for the stake in the right place after cutting. http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?partNumber=169532-1641-14CSB&langId=-1&storeId=10151&productId=3015421&catalogId=10051&cmRelshp=req&rel=nofollow&cId=PDIO1 http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?partNumber=169610-1641-14SSB&langId=-1&storeId=10151&productId=3015429&catalogId=10051&cmRelshp=req&rel=nofollow&cId=PDIO1
