I have to move plugs out appx. 2" for new backsplash.What box can I use?


Electrical boxes are typically used most often for switches and receptacles and not plugs. A plug is something you should find on the end of a cord and no box is required.

We would need details on how this new backsplash was constructed. Most backsplashes are solid. If you have 2 inches of solid material we would not have a solution. The B225R-UPC will handle wall thicknesses up to about ¾ inch. Please contact technical services at 888-862-3289 if you have further questions.
