How big is the headrail (height and depth)? I need the measurement to determine if I can still open my window from the top down.


Thank you for your question. The head rail for this shade is approximately 2 inches and you will need at least 2 inches of window depth to mount this inside window frame. The width of the shade will be the size you purchase.
