I just purchased this pot yesterday. I already had a plant to put in it. Should come with inner pot and wick so I can use it for other plants.

Hi Petunia104. Thank you for your question. The pot you are referencing is not a self watering pot. It is designed to be used with the Wick & Grow plants sold at Lowe's where the wick is built into the soil. As you see in this pot, there is a ledge, and when you drop in a Wick & Grow plant in it's original plastic pot, the ledge raises the plant pot up allowing the empty space at the bottom to be a reservoir to hold water for the soil wick to drink from. However you can use this pot with any plant. There's a diagram on the website page to show how it works with Wick & Grow plants should you want to look into this innovative line of plants.
