Do you have metal or plastic raceways that fasten on the ceiling ?

Both the metal and the plastic can be purchased in ten foot lengths and both can be fastened to ceilings. The metal raceway uses clips to attach to surfaces. Sold separately. There is also a two hole strap - if the strap isn't required to be hidden beneath the raceway. The surface must be durable enough to support both the clips and the raceway. The right style and size of the screw head must be used or it will push back against the raceway. The right length of screw must be used for the application. ( Applications may be wood, masonry, drywall, or plaster / lath to name a few.) The strap you find already inserted in the metal raceway is to be used to join two different sections of metal raceway. ( The optional "cap" to be purchased to hide any seams. ) The fittings are less demanding with holes predrilled for screws. Most of the plastic raceways incorporate a doubleback sticky tape application where you merely remove the cellophane to expose the sticky surface. ( Just insure that it's perfectly located before you apply it. ) Personally, I hold it in place and draw the cellophane out from one side while applying it to the surface. Ask an associate if you need assistance. Hope this helps.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Because of the need for 45 degree elbows, we can only suggest the B1 and BWH1 metal raceways. Even then, the 45 degree elbows are made only in a flat elbow design (part # V512 for the B1 and 712WH for the BWH1) and they would have to be special order from Lowes as they are not generally stock items for them. Inside and outside 45 degree elbows can be accomplished by bending the raceway, using our 600B bender.
