Does this system remove nitrate- Nitrite from the water?

Molecule size determines if the filters will remove the particulate. It is usually one of the ones removed in the first 2 filters.

Good question! We got the same unit, and for us, YES! The unit is a bit noisy during filtration production, but yes, from lots of nitrites & nitrates, it came out clean after filtration. Not sure how much nitrates/nitrites are in your water, as that could affect the results, though for us, it made our undrinkable water to drinkable. We also installed a sediment filter, than a carbon filter before it, then onto a water softener and then from there to the RO System. You may not need any of that, but at least if you have hard water, than a Water Softener I would recommend based on our own experience.

This filter will reduce sediment, chlorine taste and odor, cysts, lead, chemicals, and dissolved solids from the water.
