Yes, the Remote Water Shut-Off Valve uses a ball-type valve design. However, the valve does not automatically cycle on and off. It remains in the selected open or closed position until it receives a command to change. For optimal performance, we recommend manually cycling the valve a few times a year to help prevent mineral buildup and ensure smooth operation when it’s needed most.
