For the drainage line, does the drain water come out with force? My sewer pipe is ~48" off floor.

Was this Answer Helpful ?I ran my drain line up above the top of the unit about 2-3 feet and then across my basement about 35 feet to my drain sink, and then back down into the sink. I made a PVC pipe with a 90 degree elbow that the drain line attaches to which is about 2" above the sink rim. I piped it using 3/8" ID clear plastic drain hose that I purchased from home Depot, and I have plenty of pressure during regeneration. When you first regenerate the unit after setup turn on the water to the lowest lying pipe in you water system, in my case that was the water lines to the drain sink which hook to my washer. I turned the washing machine on during that initial regen and it increased the pressure dramatically in the discharge drain line and has been good ever since.
Was this Answer Helpful ?It must come out with force. My drain line goes up above the drop ceiling, halfway across the house and down into a pipe about 3 feet off the floor.
