Can you use a T connection to connect the Salt Storage Tank Overlflow Hose to the Valve Drain Hose?


Probably not. The drain is under pressure, the overflow is not. It is just a hose at the top of the tank in case something goes wrong. You would probably end up shooting water backward into the tank causing problems. Since the overflow isn't under pressure you can't use a back flow preventer.

No, do not connect the two lines together with a T connector. You are correct, the drain line from the main valve will flow back into the other line and fill the tank causing problems.
